5. God has revealed His glory to us in history

and providence. In everything that He says

and does in relationship to the sin crisis, His

character or His glory is revealed; and when

we read Biblical history, by the way “history”

is “Hi-S-tory”, God is interfacing with the

sinful human race.

Are you aware that God’s glory is revealed to

you on a daily basis as He relates to you? In

your own personal experience, you have

opportunity to see that “the Lord, the Lord

God is merciful, and gracious, and long-

suffering, and abounding in goodness and

truth. He forgives iniquity, transgression,

and sin” Exodus 34:6, 7.

“God speaks to us through His providential

workings and through the influence of His

Spirit upon the heart. In our circumstances

and surroundings, in the changes daily taking

place around us, we may find precious
