concerning His coming. He speaks them
Himself, as if to make them doubly impressive.
“Surely I come quickly.” “Lo, I am with you
alway,” fell as a parting blessing as the cloud
received the risen Saviour; “Surely I come
quickly” is the personal message sent to us
who are to-day waiting for the consummation.
And our hearts respond, as with John we say,
“Even so, come, Lord Jesus.”
