statement that at the time appointed the end
shall be, and that he will make him know what
shall be in the last end of the indignation, he
enters upon an interpretation of the vision.
The indignation must be understood to cover
a period of time. What time? God told his
people Israel that he would pour upon them
his indignation for their wickedness; and thus
he gave directions concerning the “profane
wicked prince of Israel:” “Remove the diadem,
and take off the crown.... I will overturn,
overturn, overturn it: and it shall be no more,
until he come whose right it is; and I will give
it him.” Ezekiel 21:25-27, 31.
