Babylon, Persia, Greece, and Rome. Lucifer

claimed that it was impossible to serve God in

heaven. The controversy closes when it has

been demonstrated, before the universe, that

it is possible to serve God, and obey His law on

the enemy’s ground, and in the midst of all the

evil which it is possible for him to invent. Such

is the power of our God. May “Thy kingdom

come. Thy will be done in earth as it is in

heaven.”
