Frequently Asked Questions Here are answers to the most common
questions our clients have about our websites.
Design
Q: How many website designs can I get?
A: You will see one or two different designs based on the initial brief.* You might like one design in its entirety or pick the design elements from both designs that will best  t your overall branding and look and feel.
Q: Who supplies images?
A: You can supply your own images for use in the design or we can use stock photos from our library ( ve included in design – charges may apply if you wish to add more).
Content and Ownership
Q: Who writes the content for my website?
A: You have two options;
1. Supply the copy yourself to a template that we provide, or
2. We can do it for you and provide you with a quote for doing this.
Q: Who owns the IP for my website?
A: There are three components to your website when it comes to Intellectual Property:
1. Content and data – this is owned by you so you can do whatever you chose with it.
2. Design and template coding / HTML – we are happy to supply this to you, should you require your own copy.
3. The Content Management System – this is our own proprietary software and we cannot give you a copy.
If you decide to move away from Snap at any stage, you may have to pay another developer to integrate your design into their own Content Management System.
Speci c Inclusions
Q: How many changes can I make to my design?
A: If you select the Professional website package, the price of the website includes two initial designs, followed by a  nal design. The Business Basics website includes one design. For the  nal design you can make some small changes to placement or colours. If you are still unhappy with the design after this point, there may be an hourly charge for additional changes.
Once you have approved the design for cut up, any additional changes from this point will attract further charges as we may have to cut up the website again. The Starter website is based on a standard layout.
Q: In my initial consultation I spoke about a particular feature and it was not included in my quote – will I still get it?
A: The quote you’ve received is a full description of your solutions. If something you wanted is not in the quote or the order, then it has not been allowed for in the price. Please bring this to our attention straight away.
Fees and Payments Methods
Q: How do I get charged my monthly service fees?
A: Snap only accepts monthly debit to a credit card for monthly service fees. This fee is automatically debited to your credit card on the 7th of every month, or the next business day if it falls on a weekend.
You are not locked into any plans, but if you wish to cancel any ongoing services we require a minimum of 30 days prior written noticed..
Q: What do my monthly fees include?
A: In the past we have found that our clients have compared our services against overseas cheaper hosting plans and have wondered why ours cost more.
Usually our competitors are only offering very basic services. We offer much more than that:
• Local hosting to improve your search engine results.
• Free ongoing support.
• Access to the Snap Content Management System and Tools.
• Ongoing and regular updates to our software to keep your website technology up to date.
• Load balanced server with no hardware point of failure. • 24/7 monitoring of servers with instant response times. • Rolling 24 hour backups for up to 3 months.
• Unlimited domain aliases.
Q: Can I host my website elsewhere?
A: The main bene t of choosing Snap as your internet partner is that we provide you with sophisticated tools to manage your website yourself and regular software updates. Our tools need to run on the Snap servers, so your website cannot be hosted elsewhere.
Training & Support Q: What training do I get?
A: Snap provides every client with an initial personalised training session and online training which can be accessed 24/7. You will have access to video tutorials, which we  nd is a great way to train clients and members of your team.
If you need help at any point after this initial training, you can call our support team to ask a question. Starter Websites only access the online training support.
