Un-traditionally Yours…
Traditionally, society had clear demarcations of the role of men and women in society. With time, margins blurred
and started overlapping. However, it is in these corona times that the male populace truly breached and broke
down the walls of the female bastions. The kitchen, where female reigned supreme saw many a husband wielding
the pans and the pots. Hitherto men were not much concerned with their homes hearths. Wives took care of the
palate and slogged all day cleaning, cooking, etc. all. The enforced lockdown had husbands turn a new leaf.
Much to their wives joy and amazement , men set out so lend out a helping hand. In the absence of household
helpers, wives found loving husbands lending a hand at all and sundry things - be it helping with the laundry, doing
dishes, trying their hand at cooking or even teaching the kids.
A true “hurrah” times when the old saying “ Something good comes out of even bad things” holds value.
A big kudos and cheer to all the husbands, fathers and brothers out their whose manliness only increases while
doing so called “unmanly” things.
Truly modern and in real sense un-traditionally yours..
