only one choice: the University of Maine. This school was
highly recommended to him by is peers and co-workers alike.
The University of Maine is a great fit for people looking to go
back to school online. Brian enjoys the flexibility most. He was
able to choose his own schedule and learn the material at his
own pace while still working and traveling full time. Each class
is a little different and offers engaging and challenging content
for students. The university offers a great deal of support to its
online attendees in forms of study groups and tutors willing to
help. Not only will they help with class work, but the University
of Maine also offers many scholarships and financial aid to help
lower the financial burden of college.
Brian is currently enrolled in their Online Graduate Certificate
in Surveying Engineering Technology program. This is a great
first step for any aspiring young professional because it allows
people to test the online experience without committing to
years of classes. However, this program has a way of keeping
students coming back for more. Brian has already decided that
once he gets his Certificate, he would like to enroll again for
their bachelor’s degree. We’re all excited to watch and help
Brian through this process and I hope his story can be a guide
for other aspiring young professionals.
