Concessions
Attendee lunches and
receptions will be featured
inside the exhibit hall through-
out Monday and Tuesday. You
must have a pre-purchased
ticket for admission to these
events.
Dress Code
Attire at the annual conference
is business casual. Feel free
to be comfortable in slacks,
polo shirts, sweaters, blazers,
blouses, and most importantly,
comfortable shoes! Suits, ties,
nine-to-five dresses, and high
heels are acceptable, but
not required.
NYSAPLS LAND SURVEYORS PAC RECEPTION
Sunday, January 25
5:00pm – 6:00pm
Join your peers for an evening cocktail reception on January 25th to raise funds for the
Land Surveyors Political Action Committee (LSPAC).
Tickets can be pre-purchased and are also available at the door. Each ticket includes entry
to the event, 1-hour full open bar and refreshments.
All ticket proceeds will be donated to the LS PAC.
NETWORKING DAY FOR
STUDENTS & SURVEYORS
Monday, January 26 VOLUNTEERS
Calling all licensees and students! Join us for an NEEDED
afternoon of networking designed to offer generations
of surveying knowledge and “real world” experience to
current students studying to join the profession. Please
join us and donate a few hours of your time to help mold
the path of a future licensee.
On the opening day of the conference, students will have the opportunity to network with
current licensees while enjoying lunch, attending the scholarship awards presentation,
visiting the exhibits, and attending the “Real World Perspectives” panel session together.
The schedule for the day is listed below:
Networking Schedule (Monday, January 26)
12:00pm – Meet and greet: Students and licensees will
enjoy lunch and will be paired up with their
mentor
1:00pm – Scholarship and Awards Presentation
2:00pm – Free networking time: Use our lounge to
discuss the field over a cup of coffee; or stroll our exhibit hall and introduce
students to the latest technology and your personal vendor connections.
4:00pm – Attend the “Real World Perspectives” panel session,
facilitated by Jeremy E. Thompson, LS.
To contribute and enhance your experience, Marvin Land Surveying has graciously offered
to purchase Monday’s lunch tickets for students participating in this event. Lunch tickets
are available to students who are pre-registered by January 7th.
To make this event successful, we are looking for both licensees and students to participate.
