The November Sports Medicine Student of the Month for third session is Perla
Gonzalez. Perla is a senior at Hiawatha High Schooland has done a great job
navigating the schedule of KEC while being in and out of adaptive pauses all
semester. She has navigated Sports Medicine in a non traditional setting.
Overall, she has a great personality for the field and has done an unbelievable
job staying engaged despite the pandemic.
The November Medical Terminology Student of the Month is Jeslyn Grant. She is a
senior at Hiawatha High School and has done a great job navigating Medical
Terminology in the most untraditional of settings. Due to her home school schedule,
she has been unable to attend our live lectures or sit in person in class. She has
done a great job completing this class completely remote. Overall, she has shown
great maturity and discipline.
