Alumni Spotlight:
Vinnie Laudicina is a full-time Firefighter Paramedic for the
DeKalb Fire Department. Vinnie attended KEC from 2008 to
2010 in the Fire Science program. After finishing his college
program, Vinnie worked as an intern at the Sycamore Fire
Department from 2012 until 2015. Vinnie was the Training
Captain at the Cortland Fire Department from 2010 to 2017
until he was hired full-time at DeKalb. Over the last six years,
Vinnie has been teaching KEC Fire Fighting and EMT-B
classes, in between his shifts at the DeKalb Fire Department.
