Alumni Spotlight:
Katelyn Hughes is a 2019 graduate of the KEC Early Childhood
Education program. She was student of the month and year.
Katelyn is currently continuing her ECE pathway at Kishwaukee
College. She’s also currently employed at KEC as a Teacher’s
Aide for the Early Childhood Education class. Katelyn said “Early
Childhood helped give me confidence in teaching, the idea of
lesson planning and observing my students. These skills that
I learned will help me in my career of becoming an
Elementary school teacher.”
