2017 is marching on. Here we are in autumn
already!
Residents have already been experiencing some of
Sydney spectacular gardens, with a walk around
the manicured Lisgar Gardens in Hornsby followed
by a morning tea in the beautiful surroundings.
With the completion of the outside deck off
Camelia we look forward to sitting outside and
enjoying the beautiful Sydney autumn weather
with our residents their family and friends.
We have some exciting things happening in the
coming months kicking off with the Australian
Youth Orchestra playing chamber music. 'Grand'
Kids Day which is always a huge success with
clowns, face painting and plenty of sweet treats
for the kids. For the sweet tooths amongst us, me
included, we had a trip to the Botanical Gardens to
learn about the story of chocolate. Maybe even a
little taste!
For a trip down memory lane we have an outing to
the Tramway Museum. Our Leisure & Lifestyle
team have a full program. From pet therapy,
scrabble, floral art…they even have an ice cream
trolley!!
Pam and Linda, our hairdressers to the stars, are at
Lansdowne Gardens every Tuesday and Saturday
to ensure we are all looking our best all the time.
Music appreciation is one of most popular events.
Sally’s knowledge is second to none, with us all
learning something from her sessions every
Tuesday at Manns Avenue and Thursdays at
Wycombe Road.
We look forward to welcoming you to all our
upcoming events.

Well it’s goodbye to summer with its mixed bag of heat
and storms and hello to autumn! Not to be confused with
our lovely Food Services Leader, Autumn who ensures our
residents and families are served delicious morning and
afternoon teas from her trolley and cool drinks
throughout the day.
A very warm welcome to our new residents and their
families and if you need any assistance I would be pleased
to see you on Level B2 at Manns Avenue or visit Lynette
at reception on the Ground Floor, or Jackie and Bianca on
reception at Wycombe Road, or give us a call – 02 9953
0000.
Should you require a rubbish bag to empty the fridge in
your loved one’s suite of anything past the use‐by date
please see reception. Any new items of clothing please
make sure that they are handed in to either reception or
Level B2 for labelling. Leanne will label and return items
to the suite with a fast turnaround.
Just a reminder that effective 20 March the daily care fees
and income tested fees set by the Department of Human
Services will be reviewed so you will notice the relevant
changes in your statements commencing April.
