Autumn 2018
BELLA VISTA NEWS
Welcome
By Janice McNair
Hello Everyone!
Bus Trip to Mount Tomah
My name is Janice McNair and I am the new Director of Care
Services, having joined Bella Vista Gardens on 19 February.
I grew up in a large family that included two nurses, so training as a
nurse was already in the blood. I trained at Sydney Hospital and
followed this up working in various clinical areas including ICU, CCU,
A&E and community nursing. These experiences gave me great
clinical skills and grounding to become an aged care nurse.
I have been working as a manager in the aged care industry for the June with Sandra, and pet therapy dog
past 19 years. My passion is to ensure that you as the resident are
our number one priority. Making the decision to move into an aged
care residence is about starting or continuing to grow your interests
and lives to the best of your ability. Residents who become involved
with your new residence can make a significant contribution to how
the residence feels. The residence is only a structure but the real life
comes from the people who live and work here.
I look forward to meeting everyone in the near future. We have lots
of events and outings planned over the next few months, to keep Tour of NSW Art Gallery
everyone busy. Sonya Elbaz has joined us from our Bayswater
Gardens residence in the Inner West, as Client Services Manager,
following Leanne's departure. We wish Leanne well for her future
endeavours. If you would like to meet with me, please contact Alison
at Reception to arrange a mutually suitable time to meet.
With warm wishes
