WINTER 2021
WILLIAM CAPE NEWS
Welcome
By Helene Zotter
It was beautiful to see the Autumn display of colours here at
William Cape Gardens. This display though was
accompanied with the start of chillier mornings. It is
heartening too, that even though the mornings are cool, our Gay wearing her Easter bonnet creation
early morning risers continue to attend to their morning
walks, rugged up, with some entertaining beanies. If anyone
is interested – perhaps the time to start a walking group,
would be now.
We are celebrating Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea, on
Thursday 24th June and we hope to see many of you there,
to assist with this cause, which I know has touched many of
our lives.
You may have noticed some new faces, joining our care
team here. In May we welcomed students undertaking their James proudly displaying his service medals
work experience component of their studies. These students
are undertaking various courses, including Certificate III and
IV in Nursing; Diploma in Nursing and Bachelor of Nursing.
We are pleased to be able to offer the students the
opportunity to undertake this component of their studies
here at William Cape Gardens.
As always – my door is always open, so please feel free to
come and see me if you would like to discuss anything with
me.
