Meet Margaret Smith

17 January Thomas F Marg was born 13 October 1935 in Cootamundra NSW and she is one of
three children. Marg has an older brother and a younger sister.
19 January Nellie
Marg Lived in Coota for 21 years and left school at the age of 15. When
21 January Beryl M she left school, Marg sat for the public servant entry exam. Marg passed
and started working for the Public Works Department and Agricultural

Department at the age of 20.

Marg moved to Sydney and worked for the Attorney General and

Justice Department for two years. Marg moved backed to Coota where
4 February Judith C she met her husband Ray. They married and stayed in Coota for a year,
then Ray was transferred to Wagga.

Ray and Marg moved to the Central Coast in 1963 when Vales Point
5 February Norbet Power Station opened. Marg continued to work at a real estate agency
part time. Marg enjoyed playing tennis at Toukley and Wyong.

Marg and Ray had taken several trips to New Zealand and a cruise

When Marg's husband passed away four years ago Marg joined Probus
24 February Bryan B where she met a lot of people and made friends that she continues to
catch up with. Marg enjoys reading the newspaper daily, doing
crosswords and going for walks in the garden.
