Iguazu Falls, Buenos Aires
we are able to appreciate the sur- rounding buildings like the ‘Pink House’ (Government house), the Cathedral and Town Hall. We continue towards La Boca to walk along the famous Caminito alley and its colorful “conventillos”. We leave the southern area of the city to head north towards Palermo and Recoleta, where we make a final stop to appreciate the contrast of what we have seen with this aristocratic district, famous for its cemetery where relevant personali- ties are buried. Afternoon at leisure. At 8.00 PM pick-up at the hotel for a drive to San Telmo, the cradle of Tango. "Gala Tango" is one of the most exclu- sive tango venues in the city, due to its architecture and decor, in the French style of the 30s, with its Carrara marble bar and refined details. The a-la-carte gourmet 3-course dinner carefully designed by its exclusive chef will be as well a distinctive trait of the eve- ning. Around midnight, return to the hotel. [B/D]
