At agreed time, transfer to the domes- tic airport to board your flight to Mendoza. Arrival and transfer to the selected hotel. In the evening cooking class with Cristina Brino at Finca Adalgisa. After her studies in gastron- omy at Escuela Islas Malvinas in Mendoza, a successful stay at 1884 Restaurant from the well-known chef Francis Mallmann, a working experi- ence in Chile, Cristina Brino arrived at Finca Adalgisa with her cooking classes. With all her experience she lights up the open fire where she prepares meat, grilled vegetables and dessert. By using typical ingredients Cristina cooks unique plates generat- ing harmony between the regional products she uses. She works with fresh products only and some of them are cultivated and recently harvested at the Finca«s green garden you will
learn to prepare typical regional food consisting of fresh product which you can obtain easily in any place of the world. The food you prepare during the cooking class, can be easily made at home in a conventional kitchen. [B/D]
Day 5: Mendoza
Full day winey tour including wine tasting & lunch. Located in Lujan de Cuyo and Maipœ area, in this route through the vineyards you will have the opportunity to appreciate the efforts of man to transform the desert into a oasis through the irrigation ditches and channels (Huarpe inheri- tance) and modern drip irrigation
systems, we visit wineries large and small of outstanding quality that we have positioned as a world capital of wine tasting and lunch at each one of the wineries with wine included. [B/L]
Day 6: Mendoza
The Uco Valley is compared by many to the Napa Valley 30 years ago. It is the new frontier of winemaking in Mendoza. At a higher elevation than Luj‡n de Cuyo, excellent high-altitude wines are produced from vineyards up to 1400m (4600 feet) high, at the foot of the towering Andes Mountains. Get an early start we head towards the Uco
Valley, taking the scenic route via Tupungato. Your Uco Valley Wine Experience we include a total of 3 wineries, having interesting visits and special wine tastings at two wineries in the morning, before finishing with a late, relaxed gourmet wine pairing lunch at the third winery. [B/L]
Day 7: Mendoza, USA
At agreed time, transfer to the airport to board your flight to back home or to your next destination. [B]
