Day 8: Marrakech, USA
After breakfast, we will assist you to Casablanca airport for your return flight. [B]
Day 5: Merzouga, Alnif, Tazarine, Zagora
Enjoy an optional sunrise camel ride along the golden sand dunes in Merzouga. Return to your Riad for breakfast before transferring to Zagora via the Amazigh villages of Alnif and Tazarine. Zagora is famous for its largest palm valley in Morocco. Stop by Tamegroute to visit the village’s famous library, which houses ancient Koranic scripts dating back to the 12th century. Dinner and overnight in Zagora. [B/D]
Day 6: Zagora (Agdez), Ouarzazate
After breakfast, enjoy the tour of Zagora including some of the oldest villages in Morocco. Visit the pottery section of Tamgroute then transfer to Ouarzazate along the Draa valley. Optional lunch stop at Agdez then continue the trip to Ouarzazate for
dinner and overnight. [B/D]
Day 7: Ouarzazate, Ait Ben Haddou, Marrakech
After breakfast, begin city tour of Ouarzazate, including the Taourirt and Tifoultout Kasbahs, which are consid- ered to be among the most beautiful Kasbahs in Morocco. (Optional visit the film studios where some of the most famous desert landscapes were and are still being shot. Continue on to the
spectacular fortress of Ait Ben Haddou, the iconic landscape immor- talized in such films as Lawrence of Arabia, The Mummy, Gladiator, and Alexander. Then, cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tiz In Tichka pass to Marrakech for dinner and overnight. [B/D]
