Day 1: Marrakech
Meet and greet at Marrakech airport. Buckle up and get ready to get daz- zled but yet enchanted by the sights and sounds of Marrakech. Check in to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure. Dinner and overnight in Marrakech. [D]
Day 2: Marrakech
Full day guided city tour. Marrakech powder-pink city enveloped within its ochre-dusted ramparts, the medina is Marrakesh's show-stopping sight of crowded souqs. The main artery into this mazy muddle is the vast square of Djemaa El Fna, where it's carnival night every night. Stroll between snail vendors, soothsayers, acrobats and conjurers, musicians and slapstick acting troupes to discover the old
city's f renetic pulse. Places to visit: Bahia Palace and the Dar Si Said are a riot of tile work and intricate floral painted-wood ceilings, the Saadian Tombs are enriched by an opulent bounty of marble, the Ben Youssef Medersa and the Koutoubia minaret, the old Jewish district of the mellahto visit the Lazama Synagogue and the Miaâra Jewish cemetery to gain a greater understanding of Marrakesh's cosmopolitan past. Dinner at a local restaurant and overnight in Marrakech. [B/D]
Day 3: Marrakech, Ouarzazate, Dades
After breakfast, transfer to Ouarzazate along the magnificent Tizi In Tichka pass through the High Atlas Mountains. Make a brief stop in the village of Skoura before taking the route of 1001 Kasbahs to Kelaat
M’Gouna. This village is famous for its rose cultivation, so expect to find many fine, rose-infused products there. Continue to the village of Dades for dinner and overnight. [B/D]
Day 4: Dades, Merzouga
After breakfast, enjoy walking at the famous Dades Gorges, lies between the Atlas Mountains and the Jbel Sargho of the Anti-Atlas mountain range then continue to Tinghir is a
gorgeous, 40km oasis, which boasts one of the largest palm groves in the country. A beautiful walk through the valley and the Todra Gorge, a 300m wall, carved deep into the High Atlas Mountains then on to Merzouga making stops in Erfoud, and Rissani. Dinner and overnight at Riad in Merzouga.[B/D]
