Day 9: Cairns (Kuranda)
Experience the contrast of the region’s oldest railway and the world’s most beautiful Cableway, knowing that we have taken care of all the details with our Kuranda Boarding Pass. Tjapukai is our first stop this morning and includes lunch. Then board Skyrail Rainforest Cableway for your journey over and through World Heritage protected rainforest, before some free time in Kuranda. Avoid the ticketing lines before boarding the famous Kuranda Scenic Rail, our Kuranda Boarding Pass ensures you will have preferential seating. [B/L]
Day 10: Cairns, Melbourne
Private departure transfer from your hotel to Cairns airport. (Flight not included). Arrive Melbourne, private transfer from the airport to the hotel.

Day 11: Melbourne
Join a small group tour with driver- guide. Hear about Melbourne’s wonderful history, its famous build- ings, and sensational shopping. Explore Fitzroy Gardens, including Cook’s Cottage, the Royal Botanic Gardens and the Shrine of Remembrance. Travel over the Westgate Bridge, drive along the Grand Prix Track and see the Melbourne Cricket Ground, St. Paul’s Cathedral, the Arts Centre, Crown Casino and Port Phillip Bay. [B]
Day 12: Melbourne (Great Ocean Road)
Join a small group tour with driver- guide. We will make plenty of stops along the way. There will be opportu- nities to spot some famous Australian animals, stop at a lighthouse and take in the wild scenery and breathe in the fresh air. Enjoy the breathtaking views over the Southern Ocean and stop for a little rainforest walk to appreciate the cool climate and heavy rain that this region enjoys. We will treat you to a light lunch and the chance to chat to your fellow travelers. Later in the day, head towards the limestone rock formations otherwise known as the 12 Apostles. Nearby you will discover
another ancient natural attraction; Loch Ard Gorge where you will hear the story of the shipwreck and its survivors. Dip your feet in the water at the Gorge’s quaint beach and you will never want to leave. But alas, it’s time to return to Melbourne. [B/L]
