Advantages of learning to play an instrument together in the
         Class Band and Strings Class



         The Class Band and Strings Class from Yamaha are now a well-known phenomenon in Euro-
         pe, and it is well known that making music in general is good for the cognitive development
         of the student.  By playing an instrument you combine both brain halves and the brain cre-
         ates multiple connections. During playing, the brain hemispheres of the pupil work well to-
         gether and develop. By playing together, the concentration of the pupil is also promoted.
         After years of experience, we can conclude that learning to play an instrument in a group has great
         advantages for the social development of the pupil. Both for the individual pupil and for the group.
         In this flyer, we focus mainly on the social aspects: social skills, sympathy, empathy and emotion
         regulation are promoted in a positive way.
