(d) promote the inclusion of environmental provisions through
collective agreements at all levels.

Once again, the Philippines was selected by the ILO for the pilot
application of Just Transition, together with Ghana and Uruguay. It
can be recalled that the Philippines was also chosen by ILO to pilot
the implementation of its Decent Work framework in 2009.

With Decent Work envisioned as the “outcome” of a planned
transition to decarbonisation and social dialogue as the “process”
that would ensure inclusiveness, it is but timely to look into the status
of the implementation of Just Transition in the Philippines and to
verify whether the transition process is really making the country
green and just.
