Artistic Team


        Ang Hui Bin
        Hui Bin graduated from the National University of Singapore’s Theatre Studies Program in 2004 and has been working
        in theatre as an all-round artist since turning full time in 2006.
        Some of her recent works include: OIWA – The Ghost of Yotsuya (Puppetry Designer / Puppeteer, SIFA x The Finger Players,
        2020 / 2021); Curious Fish (Designer, Arts Fission, 2019); Community Shadow Puppetry Workshop (Instructor, Esplanade
        Octoburst!, 2019); Beam (Director / Playwright, Tiny Feat x The Artground, 2019); H A N D S – inaugural Children’s Parade
        (Director / Playwright / Puppetry Designer, Esplanade Octoburst!, 2018); Framed, By Adolf (Puppetry Designer / Actor /
        Puppeteer, The Finger Players, 2018); and Itsy – The Musical (Puppetry Designer, The Finger Players, 2017).

        Ang Lay Hoon (Teacher Red) (Creative Movement and Chinese Dance Teacher)
        Ms Ang Lay Hoon holds the Diploma in Preschool Teaching and is a MOE registered Dance CCA & PAL Instructor and
        Arts & Music (AMIS) instructor.  She won several awards for her choreograph works for Youth Festivals.  She also assisted
        in National Day Parade Mass Display, Asian Youth Games Singapore 2009 Opening Ceremony Mass Display and
        Singapore 2010 First Youth Olympic Games (YOG) Mass Display.  Teacher Red has been teaching Creative Movement
        and Chinese Dance in Creative O since 2000.  She is also an Instructor for “Play-In-Arts” in The Theatre Practice.
        Ms Ang just obtained her Specialist Diploma in Specific Learning Differences from DAS Academy in June 2020.


        Li Guang Liang (Martial Arts Teacher)
        Mr. Li came to Singapore to take up teaching engagement in Martial Arts in 2011. He started learning martial at a
        very young age; by the age of 10, he was a member of the Shandong Martial Arts Exhibition Troupe to Germany &
        Switzerland. He went on to win awards after awards in provincial & national competitions.
        Although he holds a degree in Public Relation & Management, but because of his deep interest in Martial Arts, he has
        elected to make teaching martial arts his career at this stage of his life.
        Mr Li is teaching in schools as well holding classes in the weekends. Many students coached by him have won awards in
        many local and overseas competitions. He started his first class in Creative O in 2017.

        Leong Siew Yeng (Floor Exercise Teacher)
        Ms Leong is a renowned & well-respected dancer & choreographer in Singapore Chinese Dance circle. In her past 35
        years career, not only had she performed & choreographed in many national and international events, she has also
        trained numerous young dancers.
        She became the Artistic Director and Choreographer of the Leng Kee Dance Troupe since Under her artistic &
        organizing leadership, the troupe has been able to present a public production almost every alternate year. In
        September 2017, the troupe was invited to perform in the Dance Carnival in Korea.
        Ms Leong has been the instructor in floor exercise for our K1 & K2 children since 2001. With her training, the children’s
        physical capability demonstrated in the performance at the year-end concerts have left the parents in total amazement!

        Goh Guat Kian (Chinese Speech & Drama Teacher)
        A graduate of Practice Performing Arts School Acting Course, Guat Kian furthered her Advance Acting Course in
        Shanghai Theatre Academy. For many years, she has been a Speech & Drama teacher with Hokkien Huay Kuan Arts
        and Cultural Troupe. She also teaches Speech & Drama in primary schools. She is a well-established stage actress in the
        local Mandarin theatre. She has been the Speech & Drama instructor with Creative O since 1998.


        Julius Foo Jong Soon (Drama Instructor / Director)
        Julius Foo Jong Soon started in theatre as an administrator and actor with The Necessary Stage.
        Over the years, he has acted in numerous productions with various theatre groups and companies.
        As he continues to hone his craft as an actor, he has expanded his interest in the areas of community theatre and education,
        working with children and young people, people with special needs as well as seniors from different backgrounds.


        Neo Hai Bin (Director)
        Neo Hai Bin is currently a writer and a theatre practitioner. He is also part of the theatre reviewers team
        “ 劇讀: thea.preter” since 2017. His literary works can be found at thethoughtspavilion.wordpress.com. He finds
        working with the children and teachers in Creative O always a rewarding and humbling experience.
