What I've Learned Living with These Monsters
Owning so many bikes has taught me a lot. First, each bike is unique. They may all have engines, wheels, and
handlebars, but the experience of riding each one is completely different. The Busa and ZX-14R may be built for
the same purpose—extreme speed—but they feel very different in their delivery. The Speed Triple and MV
Agusta are both high-performance triples, but their power delivery is night and day.
I have no intention of becoming a full-fledged collector. In fact, I recently sold my Lowrider S, as I wasn't riding it
enough to justify keeping it. The bikes I have are all still being used regularly, but I know that, from time to time, I
will let a few go. That said, I'm sure I'll always have a few bikes in the garage. After all, I don't consider myself a
collector—I just love riding them all! LHR
