A CASE STUDY IN INVESTIGATOR TIMELINE TESTIMONY

The Case

 The only two people in the home at the time the gun went off were
client and his fiancée.

 Contact gunshot wound to top of her head; wound track was slightly
front to back and slightly right to left.

 His fiancée had no history of being suicidal. Her BAC was .27 - 340%
above the “legal” limit. She also had Adderall and Phentermine, a
prescription weight-loss drug, in her system.

 Client was immediately arrested and charged with 1 degree murder
and false imprisonment for allegedly locking his fiancée in a shed
before shooting her in the head in the upstairs bedroom of their
bungalow.
