Foreword

Jill & Dave have been teaching the game for more than 30 years.
During that time they have held many classes with pupils as young as six
to people more than 70.

Together they are

During that time their successes include four players who have played for
various England Junior teams and, in some ways more important, a large
number of players who now play at club, county and national level.

This book brings together a more thorough version of the first 10 live
lessons that they use in their classes.

A word of warning. A few years ago one of my students came to me and
said, "I hate your notes!"

When I asked why I got the reply, "They are magic! Every time I read
them there is something there that was not there last time."

Yes, they do need reading more than once.
