AS WE CELEBRATE...

Our Chamber was founded in 1966 to promote the well-being of the business and professional
community of Monroe, Connecticut and we are proud to continue that tradition today. As we
celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Monroe Chamber of Commerce, we present you with our
2016-2017 Commemorative Keepsake Annual Directory. We invite you to read the history,
browse the photos and of course, support local business.

The Chamber Board of Directors works diligently to bring programs and events that create
opportunity for businesses to get out of the office and network. We encourage anyone in the
Monroe community to attend any of our Business After Hours, Lunch and Learn Educational
Segments, and Morning Networking Meetings. We are also pleased to announce a unique series
of educational events centered around the larger businesses coming to and surrounding the
Monroe area called, “Surviving the Big Box”. This will be a three part series hosted by SCORE
at the Edith Wheeler Memorial Library starting in September. Be sure to visit our website at
