Mission and Responsibility

St. John's ICARE Foundation is dedicated to advancing the Episcopal Health Services (EHS)
healthcare system’s mission and vision of delivering high quality care through its philanthropic

support and unique programs.

Since its establishment in 2021, the ICARE Foundation - an acronym for Innovation,
Compassion, Accountability, Respect, and Empathy - has raised nearly $4 million dollars in
funding. This remarkable achievement is made possible by the unwavering dedication of the

EHS leadership, team members, volunteers, and the community.

The Foundation has profoundly impacted countless lives by investing in capital projects,
special programs, and community initiatives at EHS. Donations have facilitated the purchase
of essential equipment, such as simulation tools that empower EHS healthcare teams to
master complex procedures safely and effectively, ultimately enhancing patient outcomes.

The Foundation also offers specialized programs for patients, including mother/baby
initiatives and the Pharmacy Fund, which assists those unable to afford their medications.

The Foundation’s community outreach is equally robust, highlighted by events like the
Community and Back to School Wellness Event, where hundreds of children return to school

healthy and equipped with essential supplies each year.

Together, we work collaboratively to ensure ICARE values are reflected in every initiative and
take immense pride in being part of RossYou Day.
