Dr. Kira MacDougall is a dedicated and accomplished physician
specializing in hematology and medical oncology. She earned her
Bachelor of Science from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario,
and her Medical Doctor degree from The American University of the
Caribbean. Dr. MacDougall completed her Internal Medicine Resi-
dency at Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra University/Northwell
Health, Staten Island University Hospital, and completed her Hema-
tology and Medical Oncology Fellowship at The University of Okla-
homa Health Sciences Center and Stephenson Cancer Center.
Dr. MacDougall also pursued a Master of Science in Clinical and Translational Research
at The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, with a thesis focused on patient-
reported outcomes after Chimeric Antigen Receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy. Her dedication
to advancing cancer research is further demonstrated by her participation in the American
Association for Cancer Research/American Society of Clinical Oncology Methods in Clini-
cal Cancer Research Workshop, where she designed a phase II clinical trial.
Upon completion of her fellowship at the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center,
Dr. MacDougall joined Christus Health, St. Vincent Regional Cancer Center, in Santa Fe,
NM as a medical oncologist.
