               Saroj Misra, DO, FAAFP, FACOFP dist., is a distinguished osteopathic family physician based in
              Warren, Michigan, where he serves as core faculty in the Family Medicine Residency Program
               and chairs the Department of Family Medicine at Henry Ford Warren and Madison Heights
               Hospitals. In addition to these roles, Dr. Misra is the Associate Dean of Clinical Affairs for the

               Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine at A.T. Still University and an Associate Professor of
               Family & Community Medicine at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine.

               Dr. Misra’s academic foundation includes a Bachelor of Arts in English Language & Literature
               from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from
               the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. Throughout his career, he has been celebrated

               for his contributions to medical education and mentorship. His awards include the prestigious
               ACOFP Osteopathic Family Physician of the Year, the “Unsung Hero” Award from the American
              Osteopathic Association (AOA), and multiple recognitions as Clinical Instructor of the Year at
               St. John Macomb-Oakland and St. John Oakland Hospitals. His lasting impact on students and
               residents was further acknowledged with his induction into the AOA Mentor Hall of Fame and
               his appointment as a Fellow of the ACOFP.


               Nationally, Dr. Misra is a respected faculty member of the National Board of Osteopathic
              Medical Examiners for family medicine and holds active roles on several committees within the
               Michigan Association of Osteopathic Family Physicians. As the ACOFP representative and
               Chair of the Program and Training Review Council, he collaborates extensively with leading
               organizations, including the AAFP, AOBFP, ABFM, and ACGME, on initiatives aimed at advancing

               graduate medical education and supporting future generations of osteopathic physicians.
