                                   ALEA HARRISON, DVM ‘06
                                   CHIEF MEDICAL OFFICER
                                   BANFIELD PET HOSPITAL

                                   Dr. Alea Harrison is first and foremost a caregiver at heart —
                                   she began her career as a veterinarian at Banfield working
                                   at the Willoughby, Ohio, and Pineville, North Carolina,
                                   hospitals in 2006. Now as chief medical officer, she supports
                                   their 3,600 veterinarians and invests in the voice of their
                                   hospital Associates to shape Banfield’s unique approach to
                                   quality preventive veterinary care. Dr. Harrison’s personal
                                   experience treating pets and listening to clients helps her
        identify the best tools and strategies for every one of their Associates to make best-in-practice
        treatment decisions informed by the latest medical research, Banfield’s own data, and their values
        of inclusion and wellbeing. In addition, she is committed to sharing knowledge across the industry
        to improve the health of pets as a member of the North Carolina Veterinary Medical Association.
        She is also the executive sponsor of Banfield’s Associate-led Asian Pacific and Islander Diversity
        Resource Group, working to enhance the experience of veterinary professionals everywhere.

        Being able to provide access to quality healthcare for our patients and educate and prepare
