Dr. Louise Francesca Inocentes, a proud native
of Parkland, Florida, was peer-elected as her
                                       medical school’s commencement speaker. During
her clinical rotations, she was chosen as the
OBGYN Lead Student at St. Anthony Hospital in Chicago, where she coordinated
the core rotation schedule, supported fellow students emotionally, and served
as a key liaison between staff and students. She has been recognized as a
dependable colleague and uplifting presence in the RUSM community.

Prior to fearlessly pivoting her career to medicine, Dr. Inocentes pursued a
career in the arts. She earned her BA in Studio Art from Scripps College in
California and studied abroad at the London College of Fashion. She interned—
then freelanced—at Marchesa, a couture fashion house in New York City. In
2019, she founded her own swimwear line, Francesca Inocentes, featuring her
original designs, and continues to create fashion illustrations to unwind.

Deeply passionate about the healing power of the arts, Dr. Inocentes has
performed violin for patients at Memorial Rehab Institute and taught dance
to individuals on the autism spectrum at Ability First. She hopes to integrate
fashion, music, and movement into her future practice in Physical Medicine &
Rehabilitation to help patients feel empowered in their bodies.
