it odd and figured that the two humans were the ones they were told about. They

quickly sent one to report back and the others jumped in after the group following
closely behind. But not to be seen. They were black in the water and they had a

blackened smoke like how an octopus would ink, floating about them from the waist
down.

They echoed a dark fog like tide behind them. Bubbles began to top the surface of the
water and get closer. The Pups stopped barking and looked at the water as it bubbled

closer and bigger. They started to back away scared. The mother stopped barking and
looked at her pups then the water. “Get behind me pups!" She shouted to them as she got

up and moved out from under Chellejary. She turned to face the water and moved in
front of Chellejary and her pups. Putting distance between them and whatever was

coming.

The water splashed and you could hear gasps of air from different tones of bodies.
The mother growled. The girls shook their heads and looked around. “Chellejary?!” One
called out. Then another. Chellejary flinched then her body shook a little. The cave

tribled for a few seconds then stopped. The pups were scared and tightly curled up to
her. Little peaces of loose rocks fell into around tgem and in tge pools of water. “Are you

the ones roaming around the Island? Looking for someone?” The mother asked. Her eyes
and body still fixed on them ready to attack if needed. “Yes, we're looking for our

friend Chellejary. She was taken from us and brought here. Or so the Sea turtle told us.”
One of the girls said. “She’s human like us.” Colshios said.

The mother looked at her oddly. “Human but you have merfins like the rest of your
kind.” She responded. “Elcoe said that you were calling for us that you had a human

girl with you is that true.” Sireinamelosjhara asked. The mother grunted. “Yes....
Though she's in no condition to be moved she needs help.” She told them. The girls

The mother and the pups were speechless; they had never seen that kind of
transformation before let alone from any humans. The mother slowly backed away
