The learning of General Studies is student-centred. Students learn to direct their own
learning, ask questions and complete tasks independently. Through activities, generic
skills are nurtured and strengthened. By adding STEM education in General Studies,
students apply what they know and unleash their potential in innovation and creativity.
Students can gain a better understanding of themselves and the country. The
curriculum cultivates positive values and attitudes for healthy personal and social
developments. To enhance interactive learning, various learning opportunities include
project learning, museum learning, effective use of multimedia for learning and
teaching, and a wide range of visits and programs. We can arouse students’ interests
in learning activities when they can interact with one another and participate actively.
