Q: What is your favorite thing about your career?
A: When I worked in the private sector, I would
stay somewhere for a few years, complete
projects, implement changes, and then feel ready
to move on. I think I was always looking to make
a real difference. Working for a school district,
I am never bored and appreciate the impact I
get to have in my district. I don’t just come to
work to do a job. I get to contribute to something
meaningful. There may not be students giving me
thank you cards or apples on my desk, but I know
the work I do helps create opportunities for them. [Francie Wolfe-Baumann pictured with her family on

new programs, streamlined resources, or helping
my team and Cabinet, is what makes my work Q: Where is the next place on your bucket list and
          fulfilling.
                                                                 why?
A: Mexico City is up next. I want to experience
Q: What is your favorite family vacation? the culture, the history, and the food that make
A: I always appreciate the times my husband, it such a vibrant place. We’re taking this trip
son, and I get to travel. Since the pandemic, with our friends who are like family, the Santa

Disney Member Cruise, our trip to the UK is still family vacation together, but I know it will be
my favorite. Photo attached. I had always wanted one to remember and enough to carry us into our

were everything I hoped for in our trip. Maybe
one day I’ll take a “vacation” there and just decide
          to stay.
