How to Find the Secret Garden
Have you ever seen?
A Silvery star grow on stalks And the venus fly trap walk (but still can’t talk)
In the secret garden
Blue flowers turn red
Yellow flowers turn velvet
No flowers turn dead
When purple flowers turn violet
The tulips tiptoe
Through growing green roses Moon shade sprouts in lune light And blights in the afternoon
And soon the winking orchids bloom
And gloom will shrink into distant memories When fountains made of grapevines
Spew orange wine and
Silly lilies giggle
At the lilypad’s wiggling stem
In the evening, silver marigolds flirt With laughing daffodils while
Pale cattails fail
To catch the lazy daisy’s eye
And everyone forgot The forget me nots
I can’t tell you where this paradise lies Because my plants are shy
but if you can find
The garden in your mind
The flowers will greet you with kind Regard(en)
