My Pencil
Chewing my pencil
Splintered the wood
Good thing it was only a rental
Eating my pencil
Lead is in view
It’s not very good for my dental
Swallowing my pencil
Eraser and lead
Getting looks as if I’m mental
Digesting my pencil Getting called names That are non too gentle
Absent is my pencil
They avoid my gaze
I find their friendship unessential
Must find another pencil
Look for another utensil
Tripped on someone’s foot
I’m sure it was only accidental
The laughter purely coincidental My embarrassment is monumental I wish I didn’t chew my pencil
