Abstract : Nowadays, displaying and processing geographic information in the web
environment has become one of the most important research and applied topics in the
field of science and geographic information systems. Users need spatial information
to solve some spatial issues or support a decision. In most cases, this information
is not found directly on the web and the user has to find and collect data related
to the problem from various sources or servers, process the data using the user's
own processing system and obtain results. With the advent of web services technology
and the possibility of web-based processing, there is a great deal of interest today
in the development of distributed processes using web services technology. Most
spatial services published on the web today are written and implemented using
standards that are not open source, making them uninteresting.
The standards introduced by the OGC for web-based processing services have created a
fertile ground for the development of this web-based service and its replacement
acceptance. Companies and researchers have only accepted this standard and used it
to design and implement the desired processing services.
According to surveys, WebGIS is essential for all organizations and bodies in all
fields. Web-based GIS as a technology for publishing and accessing spatial
information can play an important role in improving performance and efficiency by
sharing spatial data between organizations and meeting their needs. To increase
their performance and productivity in the direction of e-government by helping
within organizations and establishing communication and coordination with other
organizations. The purpose of this study is to investigate the position of hospitals
in relation to the situation and condition of the patient, which is an urgent need
of the current society. The purpose of creating WebGIS for patients is also to save
time, which in some cases is vital for the patient.
For this purpose, reviewing the WebGIS development environment, determining the
study area, preparing the required data, selecting the appropriate programming
language for development have been the necessary steps of this research.
