ARKEMA & ME Major Point : preventing risks of collision between machinery/trucks and pedestrians. Man-

machine interaction in usually confined spaces requires greater attention from everyone ;
drivers must at all time be able to see directly or indirectly anyone close to their machine/
vehicle/truck.

Matters need attention:

• How to use ATEX trucks in areas that require it?
• Are traffic lanes kept unobstructed and clearly marked out?
健康安全与环境 Hse • Are the critical pillars, pipe racks… protected against impact from forklift trucks?

• Are the zones through which forklift trucks pass frequently in a good state of repair?

• Do pedestrians look on both sides before walking across the traffic lane?
