The islands of Malaysia are jewels of nature; ancient rain forests cascade down mountains into crystal clear seas. From silvered langurs caring for their bright orange babies and ants tending their herds of mealy bugs, to boisterous mudskippers and a noisy fruit bat roost - this is nature at its most extraordinary! Innovative photography allows us to explore the tiny world of insects, and the beautiful colours of the coral reefs. These are the Emerald Islands of Malaysia.

Each year millions of sardines leave the waters off the southern tip of Africa and follow the cool winter currents for almost 1000 kilometres. It’s a perilous journey, as their migration awakens a great following of formidable predators that attack from sea and air. We film a courageous little seal who braves the treacherous ocean to follow the Sardine Run.

This series gives a new perspective on the problems suffered by the big cats in this changing era in Africa.
