Dear Canby Rodeo patrons and participants,
It is my privilege to welcome everyone to the 2023 Canby Rodeo!
The annual County Fair began in 1907 and the Canby Rodeo – a fan favorite – has been going strong since the 1950’s. I have
many fun memories myself of participating in rodeo events and games. I am excited to see what’s in store for us this year.
If this is your first time visiting the Fair and Rodeo, please know there is something for everyone! There is entertainment at the main pavilion, farm animals and 4-H exhibits, delicious food, carnival rides and much more. Take time to explore the fairgrounds and rodeo arena and then step out to see Clackamas County further. We have urban, suburban, rural and wild areas that reach all the way to Mount Hood.
For our regulars and local residents, a quick update about the fairgrounds. For the last two years the Fair Board, Clackamas County, legislators and other partners have worked to secure funding to replace the livestock barn. I am excited to report that this project is well underway with the City of Canby and hopefully we will be breaking ground soon.

In addition to the exhilarating rodeo performances, the Canby Rodeo Program brings numerous benefits to our community. It stimulates our local economy, attracting visitors from far and wide who partake in the festivities, support local businesses, and contribute to the overall vitality of our town.
I want to extend my sincere appreciation to the dedicated organizers, volunteers, sponsors, and all those involved in making the Canby Rodeo Program a resounding success. Your hard work and commitment truly exemplify the spirit of our community.
