Presidents Letter
Welcome rodeo fans to the 64th Canby Rodeo, presented by Clackamas County Fair. After our return last year, we have been determined to give our fans and community another great week of fun and entertainment. We saw an overwhelming attendance and it makes us proud to see the outpouring of
generosity and support by our fans and sponsors. Let’s make this year as spectacular as last year! There have been a few changes within the Clackamas County Fair and Canby Rodeo organization and I welcome the new spirit and ideas that have started to emerge. Our steadfast fans will begin to see new incremental changes, which we hope will make your rodeo experience even better. From all of the Directors and volunteers, we hope you enjoy this year’s performance.
We have been working hard to bring you the best cowboys, rodeo livestock, and entertainment, all which make Canby Rodeo one of the nations top rodeos, so we hope you enjoy this year as much as last year. I would like to say it again, though, none of this is possible without the support of countless individuals, from committee members to sponsors and volunteers to fans, it takes a great community to have events like this and I am proud to live one of those communities.
I would like to thank the directors, associates and volunteers for all their hard work. After last year I have a deeper appreciation for the tireless effort everyone of you put in. Thank you sponsors for returning for another Canby rodeo year! We thank you for your generosity and community spirit. It’s because of people like you that our community thrives.
And to our fans I would like to say welcome and thank you! Thank you for joining us this year, you are the most important part of our rodeo. Enjoy! Now, take a seat and hold your hat, it’s time to Rodeo!
