BULLSEYE PRAYERS The state of ‘blamelessness’ and ‘holiness’ is achievable through the washing of our bodies and spirit with the water of the word of God. This scriptures aptly describe the truth that it is the word of God that cleanses us from all dead works and empowers us to serve the living God without spot or blemish. Paul points again at this imperative here: 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24 NKJV Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. \[24\] He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it. I love the perspective of the state of blamelessness that is inferred from the submission of Peter regarding what the word of God accomplishes in our lives.
