Chapter 6 Your Kingdom Come Whereas praying always for the church of God hits the bullseye, we Dlose out by praying only for our earthly families. o you know what it truly means to offer this prayer “Your Kingdom come?” This was the first priority expressed in the Lord’s prayer. It is the foremost petition contained in that prayer, even preceding the prayer referred to in the previous chapter, “Your will be done.” This was the essence of the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ, to introduce the Kingdom of God to all men and set in motion the process of its full manifestation on the earth. This is top priority prayer for any child of God who has good understanding of the word of God. It just has to be number one on our prayer priority list. Our priority list must not conflict with that expressed in the Lord’s prayer and, indeed, the essence of the Lord’s coming.
