Depart From Oppression Too If we study Isaiah 58, we will find another counsel to mind if we are to secure the attention of God in prayer. We cannot secure God’s hand of deliverance and blessing if we are on another hand oppressing others. In Isaiah 58, some people offered prayers to God with fasting desiring His hand of intervention in their affairs. They became frustrated after committing to days of fasting and praying without seeing the hand of God that they desired. Then they complained and in His mercy, God pointed them to the problem they were having. 95.
