Transportation Tips
MBTA Commuter Rail:
30-min. ride from Boston, on the Newburyport/ Rockport line.
Salem Ferry:
Runs seasonally May–October between Boston’s Long Wharf and Blaney St. in Salem.
Salem Skipper:
Rideshare service within Salem for $2 before 7 pm.
Bluebikes:
Pick up a bike and ride to your next Salem attraction, shop, or restaurant.
         Crombie Street Lot:
283-287 Essex St., $1.00/hour for visitors, $0.50/hour for Salem residents.* $40 for visitors on October weekends.
MBTA Station, 252 Bridge St.
• Garage: $5.00 on weekdays, $2.00 on weekends. No overnight parking allowed.
• Crescent Lot: $4 for all-day parking. $40 for visitors on October weekends. Salem residents can park for free during weekends in October.*
Universal Steel Lot:
297 Bridge St., $4.00 for all-day parking. Pricing varies during October weekends as well as 2nd Monday in October and
on October 31 to support local youth organizations.
Forest River Park:
4 hour max, $0.50/hour.

ELECTRIC CAR CHARGING
Eight electric vehicle charging stations are available in the Museum Place and South Harbor Garages. 4-hour limit.
RV Parking is available at Winter Island Park.
*Salem residents must be registered in the Passport parking app, with proof of residency, to receive the resident rate.
