On February 9th, the same time as our 116th Lincoln Day Banquet celebration, we changed over to a brand new TPCBA year with another ambitious new Board of Trustees (see their answers to some
interesting questions on pages 18), committee chairs and section presidents. If you missed the banquet, you can read a summary on page 10. Also we have printed for you, with permission from Chief Justice Steven González, his keynote presentation.
Have you paid your 2024 TPCBA membership dues to support the Bar? Some members are still trying to use their courthouse ID badge without a 2024 sticker on the back. Remember you need that sticker and your card must be activated by security, in order for it to work. Don’t wait in line; pay your dues, use your card and those little glass doors will swing open for you. Visit our website to pay online at www.tpcba.com. Are you a new member and need a badge? Working with courthouse security, we are taking photos for new badges once each month so don’t miss getting on the list. Email director@tpcba.com. Next dates are: April 18 and May 16, between 9:00 am and 9:30 am. No drop-ins please for these photo sessions. You must be on the list in advance for security purposes.
