Reveal your Courage
Adapt and overcome!
Our third session will
be an interactive one
about the importance of
adaptation and resilience,
with former Scout Master
and small business owner
Tim Morley. Our great-
grandparents learned how
to build a fire, preserve
food and sew their own clothes as a matter of survival. Prior
generations were adept at being prepared for any situation and
being responsible for the world around them. In today’s world,
while these skills may no longer seem essential, by revealing
your child’s inner ability to adapt we can instill confidence,
enhance self-esteem, provide exercise, and generate respect
for nature. Please join us in learning how to start a fire with
Doritos and leave with your own mini survival pack!
Interested in participating? Register to attend the Convention
and mark the “Kidz Bar – The Power Within”. Just $5 for each
session per child. Scholarships available upon request.
OZ Quotes:
"There is no living thing that is not afraid
when it faces danger. True courage is in
facing danger when you are afraid. If I ever
go looking for my heart's desire again, I won't
look any further than my own back yard.
Because if it isn't there, I never really lost it to
begin with! Is that right?" – Dorothy
Dorothy: "How can you talk, if you
haven't got a brain?"
The Scarecrow: "I don't know. But, some
people without brains do an awful lot of
talking, don't they?"
"A baby has brains, but
it doesn’t know much.
Experience is the only thing
that brings knowledge, and the
longer you are on earth the
more experience you are sure
to get." – The Wizard of Oz
Dorothy: "Weren’t you frightened?"
Wizard of Oz: "Frightened? Child, you’re
talking to a man who’s laughed in the face
of death, sneered at doom, and chuckled at
catastrophe… I was petrified!"
In a world where judicial decisions are readily accessible and
discussed daily, teaching our children about how the judicial
system works is essential. By understanding the basics of
the justice system, kids can have a head start in becoming
informed, empowered citizens who participate
thoughtfully in their communities.
Whether introducing your child to the
concept of fairness or undertaking the
complexities of all sides of an argument,
youcan ignite curiosity, promote
critical thinking, and nurture
a sense of civic responsibility
in your child. Help us empower
the nextgeneration to take an
active role in shaping their
communities and the world
around them.
