We were supposed to go through
the Waddell Sea, but satellite photos
available to the Ship Captain and the
Expedition Leader forced us to change
course. We could hear the sounds of
the ships cruising through large ice as we
change directions. We ended up taking a
relaxing zodiac cruise in the morning in
a lot calmer water in the Sound. In the
afternoon, we were supposed to go to
Astrolabe Island, so we went to another
one called Gordon, a rocky volcanic
island with very uneven surface to walk
on. Thousands of its inhabitants, gentoo,
        and chinstrap penguins welcomed us.
