1.GPS SPOOFING AFFECTING COMMERCIAL AIRLINES
This is the problem that we have found in the article is GPS (Global
Positioning System) spoofing, This can be done by broadcasting signals
that mimic legitimate GPS signals, but with altered timing, strength, or
location information.
By doing so, attackers can trick GPS receivers, especially in (area war
zones) into providing incorrect location data, leading to potential
misdirection or confusion, which involves manipulating GPS signal to
provide the wrong information of location who use the system of GPS
this could be serious risks to commercial airlines if something happen
such as hard to find or tracking the aircraft.
GPS spoofing lead to disrupt the navigation system , lead to inaccurate
position of the aircraft, the result in the end would be dangerous
situations such as aircraft wrong in landings.
Pilots losing accurate location data due to jamming or spoofing can lead
to them going off course and potentially causing accidents.
